Rajasthan is full of immense possibilities, it has a beautiful amalgamation of history, culture, diversity, ethnicity and what not. The wildlife here is also no less than any gift to mankind. The natural beauty of the rugged and green and brown patches of land, carry one of the most sought after wildlife animals which are rare to find in any other part of the country. One such animal to be found in the dreary deserts of Rajasthan is the big cat family of Leopards.
The Luxury Stay in Jawai offers not only the scenic beauty of the Jawai Bandh, Jawai River and the beautiful residence to enjoy a comfortable in suite tent for tourists but also provides a beautiful sight of the black dotted leopards. Yes you heard it right, the leopards here are in abundance and people from many parts of the country visit this beautiful palace near Sumerpur Town in Pali District only to enjoy the splendid joy of a jungle safari provided here by Jawai Nature Stay.
Rajasthan since time immemorial has been called the land of kings, the aura of bureaucracy, royalty and class is embedded in the very premise of this state. The monuments, the huge ancient walls, the tall gates, the colossal palaces and the lavish mansions of havelis explain the length and breadth of the aristocracy of the medieval people of Rajasthan. Since hunting and playing polo was considered a classy sport among the royals, many animals were killed in the process of hunting which basically showcased their prowess and brevity.
Hunting is the reason why the number of wildlife animals decreased in the region and now only a few places are left where wildlife is still alive nad flourishing at its best. The Government of India provides regular care and protection to the wildlife animals. Their food, veterinary requirements etc are taken care of by the special environmental cell. The leopards, especially, are a very important part of the wildlife habitat of Rajasthan. The leopards in Jawai are all safe and taken care of by special authorities designed by the team of environmentalist, wildlife enthusialists and zoologists.
Many tourists who come to visit these cute yet powerful leopards, do enjoying a camp in Jawai Bandh, the scenic beauty, the world away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the calm and composite environment where man meets the wild and where everyone just simply co exist is the place called Jawai. The camps here are neat and clean, accommodate comfortable night stays and definitely a surreal vacation which you won’t like to miss. Camping here is full of adventures, with late night bonfires, sounds of a variety of birds, the heavenly beauty of dark and dusty yet earthy setting, everything is beautiful and ecstatic to look about Jawai.

Apart from resorts and safari, the main attractions of the Jawai region are plenty, thus here is my list of favorite things to do in the surreal place called Jawai. But before we get into the details about the surreal things to do in Jawai, one thing to note here is that Jawai is 12 hours away from New Delhi via cab and New Delhi is the only metro city closest to the Pali District which is in between the route of Jodhpur and Udaipur. Even though it is a lot closer from Jodhpur than Udaipur, a lot of tourists come to visit Jawai from Udaipur and Kota as well.

The beautiful and ancient hindu temple of lord shiva is built on the hill nearby the jawai river. The provision of visiting the holy temple can be easily included in the jawai safari booking and by contacting a good tour guide who not only understands the local dialect of the place but also has the idea of the narrow lanes going to the temple. The temple has 200 steps and therefore it can become a tedious exercise to walk uphill to the mountains.
